Unlike some charities, CO-ID runs an extremely lean administrative structure. No fancy offices, long lunches or business perks. CO-ID is a small charity. In Australia, we are staffed entirely by charity volunteers who are happy to give their time and professional expertise to expand education to kids who need it. In Bangladesh, we employ only local people at local wages to teach the children. Leading Australian schools also play a great role in our work by supporting us with ongoing fund raising efforts and donations. Our lean structure is why we are able to guarantee that almost 100% of the charity money you donate goes to the underprivileged, deserving children on Bhola Island to build schools. A system that works hard to educate every childDonations are held in the CO-ID Australian bank account and enough funds are transferred to the Bangladesh bank account each month. This is split between the local committees to pay the teachers and other school expenses. Expenses are reported back up the system every month along with rolling 3-month financial forecasts
We are helping to build a brighter future for the people of Bangladesh, using its own greatest and most precious resource - the children.
