Our challenge is to fund entire new schools. |

North of Char jamuna is new territory for us. It's where our next school program kicks off. We are expanding our reach to give more boys and girls the chance to learn. Please help us fund an entire new school from the outside in - from building it, to paint, pencils to desks.

This Australian charity is bringing life and learning to Bhola Island in Bangladesh.
Bangladesh. 150 million people in a country two-thirds the size of the State of Victoria in Australia.
Everyday life is a constant struggle here, and the basic skills that we take for granted such as learning to read and write are for the fortunate ones - not for everyone.
For almost 18 years, our organisation, CO-ID (Co-Operation In Development Australia Inc.) led by Fred Hyde, has been quietly building schools and student care centres in one of the poorest areas of Bangladesh, on Bhola Island in the Ganges Delta.
To date, we have built 41 schools with more on the horizon.
By helping to build the educational system and encourage the acceptance of basic primary education, we are creating a brighter future, using Bhola's own greatest resource - the children. More.
Just AUD$8,000(US$6,000) built this school in Bhola to educate 300 local children.
